At Banbury Community Church, we genuinely care about people, their lives and their circumstances and we seek to support people in any way that we can.
We understand that a person's life consists of practical and physical needs, emotional needs and of course spiritual needs, and we aim to support, encourage and strengthen people in every area of their lives, in order that they can become all that God wants them to be.

There are several layers to our pastoral care structure, through which we seek to provide care for everyone. In a growing church family it can never be provided by just one person and so we seek to use those who are appropriately gifted to provide pastoral care.

Life Groups
Our groups provide the first point of all pastoral support within our church, and so we encourage everyone to get involved in a Life Group as soon as they can. This is where you will be able to receive consistent, ongoing support and care, through the relationships
that you develop with the people in your group and with your leaders.
This is not to say that they will be your only point of contact during challenging seasons and of course the leaders of your group will also be able to point you in the right direction should you need additional support and care.

Pastoral Visitors
We have a small team of people led by one of our elders Helen Madeiros, who are available to visit those who are sick, infirm, housebound or in hospital. We can also provide communion in your home if you are unable to make it to church. Please email the church office if you would like one of our pastoral visitors to visit you.
