Banbury Community Church is a modern, growing, vibrant evangelical church welcoming people of all races and nations. In fact whatever your age, background, story or previous experience of church - you are welcome here.
The church was born over 25 years ago with a desire to reflect the early church as seen in the New Testament, with an emphasis on embracing God's Word and the work and ministry of the Holy Spirit. We are part of the Elim pentecostal network.

Jesus Christ - a Christian Church
The person of Jesus Christ is central to all we do, and through Him we have relationship with God the Father, and the Holy Spirit.
The Bible - a Bible-Based Church
We are committed to the Bible as the Word of God, and as our final authority for direction and practice.
The holy spirit - a Spirit-filled church
We welcome the work of the Holy Spirit, and expect to use the gifts He has given us for the benefit of others, and seek to develop the fruit of the Spirit in our lives.
Worship - a worshipping church
Our goal is to express our devotion to God through joyful praise and intimate worship.
Loving Relationships - a loving church
Our goal is to see every person loved and cared for in such a way that they feel accepted, valued, and have a sense of belonging.
Discipleship - a maturing church
Our goal is to help people become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
Prayer - a praying church
Our goal is to see prayer at the centre of all we do.
Servanthood - a serving church
Our goal is to see every member developing their God-given abilities, and using them to serve others.
Giving church - a church that remembers the poor
All we possess belongs to the Lord, therefore, we aim to be generous in our personal giving, and to proactively care for those in times of hardship.
Outreach - we are an evangelistic church
Our goal is to introduce people to Jesus in our Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria (Acts1:8) and to the ends of the earth, though personal and corporate witness, community outreach, and missions.
